The Tape Archive

This collection of recordings derive from fourteen reel-to-reel tapes retained by Friday Brown at the end of her career. Most are professionally produced, by the BBC in Manchester, at Strawberry Studios in Stockport or for Kennedy Street Enterprises at Piccadilly, Manchester, although the first eight recordings presented here were made by Friday herself on a semi-professional Sony recorder.
